You can never hedge on the goals you want to accomplish in your life. This world follows the power rule, in which the top 20% of players make up 80% of the market, and all other competitors do not matter. Be honest, out of the 400 people in the NBA, how many can you name? Not all of them, because they don't matter as much since they don't perform in the top 20%. So become a top 20% performer. Always have a plan B or C, but always have them lead back toward accomplishing your final goal.
