Blank slate

You must be okay with blank slating and removing any assumptions for a project when you're stuck and not finding a solution. A great example is my Oven Project. I thought I could heat the oven by utilizing an element, and while it was a great idea, the heat would not transfer throughout the entire tube, making it difficult for my oxidation layer to equalize throughout the silicon wafer. Instead, I removed all assumptions and put my Nichrome gauge wire onto the controller, and was able to spread heat equally from there. Next time I would utilize the Shingly method of problem solving and write out my assumptions in full so that I can revisit them in the future.
